Rochelle Humes Shares Insight on Home Life with Marvin Humes

In an exclusive reveal, Rochelle Humes recently opened up about a particular rule that she and her husband, Marvin Humes, stick to in their household. The beloved pair, who began their romantic journey in 2010 and married two years later, have fostered a nurturing environment for their three children—Alaia-Mai, Valentina, and Blake.

Balancing their flourishing careers, the couple has made a name for themselves beyond their pop group days. Both Rochelle and Marvin have been busy with various hosting gigs, including their recent appearances on shows like Ninja Warrior UK. Yet, despite their busy schedules and shared professional life, Rochelle emphasized the importance of keeping work discussions out of their home life.

In a candid conversation with Closer last month, Rochelle highlighted the boundaries they’ve established. “We consciously avoid discussing work at home after a certain time,” she stated. “By five o’clock, once the kids are having dinner, we ensure that any work-related conversations are wrapped up. Preserving that separation is crucial; otherwise, we’d end up working around the clock.”

Reflecting on their relationship timeline, Rochelle and Marvin’s connection blossomed when they first met in 2010. Marvin proposed on New Year’s Eve the following year, and the couple tied the knot at the stunning Blenheim Palace in July 2012. Their family grew with the birth of their first child, Alaia-Mai, in May 2013, followed by Valentina in March 2017, and their son Blake in October 2020.
