Mike Tyson Slaps Jake Paul at Weigh-In, Calls Reporter ‘Dumba**’

In a stunning turn of events, Mike Tyson unleashed his fury on Jake Paul during a pre-fight weigh-in that spiraled into chaos. The former heavyweight champion, at 58 years old, responded to jabs from the 27-year-old YouTuber during their face-off in Arlington, Texas, ahead of their highly anticipated match.

Tyson took swift action, slapping Paul as tensions boiled over while they discussed the bout at AT&T Stadium. The slap, however, was met with laughter from Paul, who downplayed the incident, saying he “didn’t even feel it.” He went on to taunt Tyson, referring to him as an “angry little elf” and promising a decisive victory in their upcoming clash. “That was a cute slap, but tomorrow you’re going to get knocked out. It’s personal now,” Paul declared, intensifying the rivalry.

When probed about his motives for hitting Paul, Tyson simply stated, “Talk is over.” However, he later elaborated on the incident, explaining that Paul had stepped on his toes, prompting the slap. “I was in my socks and he had shoes on. I thought it was an accident, but now I think it may have been on purpose. I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate.”

The weigh-in took place at the Toyota Music Factory, where the atmosphere was electric, and chaos ensued as security was called in to maintain order. Tyson is set to return to the ring for a fight broadcast live on Netflix.

The clash at the weigh-in anticipated increased hype for the fight, especially given Paul’s controversial boxing career. With a record of 10-1 and seven knockouts—many against aging MMA fighters—Paul’s boxing credibility has frequently come into question. His only loss came against pro boxer Tommy Fury.

Tyson, who had a fight postponed due to a medical scare earlier in the year, is reportedly set to earn around $20 million for this matchup, while Paul claims he could bank $40 million and take down a boxing legend. With rising tensions and a history of back-and-forth banter, this fight is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about events in recent memory.
