Caitlyn Jenner Feels Like an Outsider in Her Own Family: She Wants to Change That

Will Caitlyn Jenner receive an invitation to the Kardashian family’s iconic Christmas gathering this year? Sources suggest that the Olympic champion is yearning for a holiday miracle. After her divorce from Kris Jenner and her transition, Caitlyn’s relationship with the Kardashian clan deteriorated, but insiders reveal that she hopes to mend those ties before the year wraps up.

According to a family source, Caitlyn is still feeling isolated from most family members. While she maintains a connection with her daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, visiting her occasionally, the full acceptance into family celebrations remains elusive. The source adds that Caitlyn is eager to bridge this gap and restore her place within the family.

At 75, Caitlyn is reportedly looking to Kim Kardashian for assistance in this reconciliation effort. The source noted that Caitlyn often expresses gratitude towards Kim, who stood by her during her transition. Their bond is deeper than many realize, reinforcing Caitlyn’s appreciation for Kim’s support through that significant life change.

Kim Kardashian demonstrated this connection recently by celebrating Caitlyn’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. She shared a loving selfie captioned simply, “Happy 75th Birthday. I love you.” Caitlyn reciprocated the affection in the comments, saying, “Love you so much. Thank you for everything.”

Despite the warmth of the birthday message, there remains some tension due to Caitlyn’s participation in the 2023 docuseries “House of Kardashian,” where she described Kim as “calculated.” Although Kim claimed her feelings weren’t hurt by Caitlyn’s remarks, family members like Scott Disick voiced their disapproval of Caitlyn’s involvement in the documentary, calling it disrespectful.

Khloé Kardashian indicated that while Caitlyn has the freedom to share her story, she found it peculiar that Caitlyn would choose to engage with a project that might not portray the family in the best light, particularly after having been so close for many years.

Caitlyn, who transitioned in 2015, has had her share of conflicts, especially with Kris Jenner. Ironically, Kris responded to Caitlyn’s aspirations for fame, seemingly taking a jab at her former partner’s comments about wanting to be more than a housewife.

On a more positive note, Caitlyn is said to have good relationships with her children from previous marriages. Reports suggest she desires to reconnect with the Kardashian family, and time will tell if this holiday season will bring about that long-sought reconciliation.
