DDG Claims Halle Bailey Is Preventing Him From Seeing Their Son

DDG is openly expressing his frustrations regarding co-parenting with Halle Bailey. The rapper and YouTuber, who started dating Halle in January 2022, became a father for the first time when they welcomed their son, Halo, in December 2023. However, after their split last October, tensions appear to have escalated.

In a recent YouTube video titled “She Won’t Let Me See My Son,” DDG recounted his struggles, stating that this situation has persisted for quite some time. He shared, “I don’t like discussing personal matters, but I feel compelled to.” He went on to explain that he feels as if he’s being “bullied” over his desire to be a present father.

DDG acknowledged that although he does get to spend time with Halo, the visits are infrequent. “Every day or every other day, I make an effort to see him,” he revealed. Yet he pointed out that he always has to do the traveling, claiming he often drives long distances only to find that he cannot see his son.

His frustrations peaked recently when he arrived to see Halo, only to be denied access. “I structured my entire day around being with him, and when I got there, I was kicked out,” DDG lamented. He described his experience of feeling like a secondary parent, emphasizing that despite his efforts, he seldom gets quality time with his son beyond 72 hours at a time.

“I don’t know what to do anymore,” he admitted, arguing that there should be some consequences for the situation, as he insists he is not a negligent parent. DDG elaborated that he had refrained from speaking about their issues publicly earlier, as he wanted to protect Halle’s reputation. “But this whole situation is just wrong,” he stated.

Halle Bailey has yet to respond to DDG’s claims, but tensions had already sparked between them following a disagreement regarding Halo’s appearance during a live stream. At the time, Halle expressed her disapproval on social media, which led to mixed reactions, particularly since she often shares moments with Halo on her own platforms.
