Rochelle Humes shares strict home rule with husband Martin after 12 years of marriage

Rochelle Humes shares insight into her home life and a surprising rule she and husband Marvin adhere to after 12 years of marriage. The popular duo, who first became romantic in 2010 and tied the knot in 2012, have successfully balanced their well-known careers in the entertainment industry while raising three children: Alaia-Mai, Valentina, and Blake.

Despite their busy professional lives, the couple has established a crucial boundary when it comes to work and family time. Rochelle recently disclosed to Closer magazine that they both consciously avoid discussing work matters at home after a certain hour. She emphasized the importance of setting these boundaries to maintain a healthy work/life balance, stating, “We make sure that we don’t talk shop at home once we’re all done for the day. We’ll let that roll into tomorrow.”

Rochelle believes that keeping their professional lives separate from their family life is essential. “If it all rolls into one, then we’ll be up working on something all the time,” she explained. By five o’clock, when dinner time rolls around for their kids, they ensure that work discussions are put on hold.

Their love story began in 2010, culminating in an engagement during a romantic New Year’s Eve proposal in Antigua in 2011. The couple celebrated their marriage at Blenheim Palace in July 2012. Over the years, they’ve welcomed their daughters, Alaia-Mai in May 2013 and Valentina in March 2017, along with their son, Blake, whose arrival was revealed in October 2020.

As Rochelle continues to captivate audiences as a host on Ninja Warrior UK, fans can enjoy her infectious personality while she balances her responsibilities as a wife and mother. The couple’s dedication to maintaining a clear division between their careers and personal lives has undoubtedly contributed to their long-lasting relationship. What do you think about Rochelle and Marvin’s approach to balancing work and family life?
