Kim Kardashian’s $70M Malibu Home Threatened by L.A. Wildfires

Kim Kardashian’s $70 Million Malibu Mansion at Risk Amid Wildfire Threat

Reality star Kim Kardashian’s opulent $70 million beachfront property in Malibu finds itself in jeopardy as nearby wildfires rage on the Pacific Coast Highway. As reported, wildfires are rapidly approaching Kardashian’s luxurious estate, which lies just minutes away from homes that have already succumbed to the flames.

While her property is not currently in an evacuation zone, the situation remains perilous. The Pacific Coast Highway has been dubbed a “hellscape” on social media, with emergency maps updating continuously as the fires spread. So far, over 1,000 structures have been destroyed, with approximately 5,000 acres burning and no containment in sight. Other prominent figures, including Ben Affleck and Tom Hanks, also face threats to their residences.

Nearby residents, including those adjacent to Kardashian’s property, are bracing for the worst as the wildfires threaten to engulf their homes. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, reality television stars, recently evacuated with their children just before their home was reduced to ashes.

Kardashian acquired her stunning three-acre coastal property in 2022 and has reportedly invested substantial funds renovating it over the past two years. The beauty mogul shared her emotional journey of purchasing this “dream” home during a walkthrough with her sister Khloe on their Hulu series, The Kardashians.

Currently, Kardashian’s mansion is situated between the Olivas Fire and the Palisades Fire, with smoke enveloping the area. Many roads in the vicinity have been closed, prompting residents to abandon their vehicles in a desperate attempt to escape.

Aerial images illustrate the significant transformation the residence has undergone since Kardashian’s purchase. Notably, she replaced the previous terracotta roof tiles with sleek dark gray roofing. The home boasts over 5,000 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Described as a “one-of-a-kind compound,” it has never before graced the market since being renovated by supermodel Cindy Crawford.

The estate features breathtaking ocean views, manicured lawns, and private beach access. A winding driveway leads past a tennis court to the two-story residence, which includes a luxurious master suite that offers spectacular beach vistas, a fireplace, and spa-like bathrooms. Several bedrooms come equipped with private entrances, a three-car garage, and ample guest parking.

Kardashian and her family primarily live north in Hidden Hills, which is adjacent to an evacuation zone. Residents have been alerted to remain vigilant and prepare for potential evacuation.

After moving from her six-acre Hidden Hills estate, which is currently undergoing renovations, the whereabouts of Kardashian and her four children remain unclear. Since acquiring the Malibu mansion from Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber in 2014, Kardashian has undertaken extensive changes. The outdoor area includes an inground pool, hot tub, covered lounge, patio, and outdoor kitchen.

During her previous marriage to Kanye West, the couple purchased the home for $20 million. Kardashian later bought the property and its contents for $23 million following their split, while her mother Kris Jenner had previously stated its value at $60 million. Kardashian and West share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

As the wildfires continue to threaten the Malibu area, all eyes will be on Kardashian and her stunning home as they navigate this challenging situation.
