Iran’s Assassination Plan Against Trump: ‘Hitman’ Linked to Weapons Arsenal Revealed

A Hitman Identified in Alleged Iranian Scheme Against Trump

In a shocking development, one of the alleged hitmen tied to Iran’s assassination conspiracy against former President Donald Trump has been named as Carlisle ‘Pop’ Rivera. Reports indicate that the FBI has officially charged Rivera, alongside his associate Jonathon Loadholt, with conspiracy to murder the president-elect and an Iranian dissident, Masih Alinejad.

Initially, Rivera became embroiled in the sinister plot when he was allegedly recruited by Farhad Shakeri, a representative for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, to conduct surveillance on Alinejad. However, the focus reportedly shifted to targeting Trump. Alinejad expressed her concern upon learning of the conspiracy, underscoring the dangers posed by the Islamic Republic to anyone who critiques its regime.

Law enforcement stumbled upon vital evidence during a search warrant execution, uncovering an array of weaponry, including assault rifles. It was revealed that Rivera, Loadholt, and Shakeri had been actively communicating through messages and photos related to their surveillance efforts. Recent reports indicate that they had exchanged texts and voice messages outlining their plans to eliminate Alinejad, with intentions to later target Trump.

Shakeri, who is now believed to be hiding in Tehran, is accused of orchestrating the entire operation. With Trump having recently won the 2024 presidential election, the stakes have understandably risen. Attorney General Merrick Garland pointed out how few entities pose as significant a threat to U.S. national security as Iran. Meanwhile, FBI Director Christopher Wray stressed the unacceptability of collusion between the Revolutionary Guard and criminal elements, emphasizing that attacks against Americans on domestic soil would not be tolerated.

Trump, who has previously survived two assassination attempts, has taken the situation seriously. Reports reveal that following the emergence of this plot, his staff intensified security protocols, which included the request for ballistic glass shields during public events.

Shakeri was reportedly recorded telling the FBI that he had no intention of executing the plan immediately. He suggested postponing it, as there was a belief that Trump would eventually lose the election, making him an easier target without the protection of the Secret Service. As the Iranian Revolutionary Guard continues to evade capture, the public is left questioning the implications of these alarming revelations for American safety and foreign relations.

This conspiracy has unfolded against the backdrop of Trump’s administration’s plans to apply maximum pressure on Iran, further complicating an already contentious relationship.
