Younger Stars Celebrate Their Adorable Kids
In the world of “Younger,” there’s truly nothing Liza Miller wouldn’t do for her child, and the beloved cast members take immense pride in their real-life kids. Sutton Foster, who played Liza on the hit TV Land series, shared her joy about her daughter Emily in a heartfelt conversation back in June 2019. “She’s still just a delight,” Foster expressed, clearly enamored with her daughter. “I’m in awe of her every day. A lot of people have warned me that it’s not just the twos, but really the threes that might be challenging. She’s strong-willed, so I’m prepared for what’s to come, but right now, she’s just incredible.”
Foster, who adopted Emily nearly two years prior, and her then-husband Ted Griffin often brought their kids to set. “We would bring both our babies to work frequently,” she recounted. Foster referred to her castmate Hilary Duff, who has a full house with four children, noting the camaraderie between their families. “Banks was always around, and Emily would visit several times each week, excited to see ‘Baby Banks.’”
Hilary Duff, known for her role as Kelsey Peters over the seven seasons of the series, juggles a busy family life with three daughters—Banks, born in 2018, Mae, born in 2021, and Townes, born in 2024—all with husband Matthew Koma. She is also the proud mother of Luca, born in 2012, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.

Peter Hermann, who played the charming Charles Brooks, shares three children with wife Mariska Hargitay. The couple has navigated parenthood beautifully, raising their kids August, Amaya, and Andrew with love.
Miriam Shor, known for her role as Diana Trout, married Justin Hagan in 2009 and together they have two daughters. Hilary Duff’s son Luca, despite his parent’s divorce in 2016, continues to thrive under their shared co-parenting approach. In a previous interview, Duff mentioned how important it is to reminisce about the good times they experienced as a family.
Laura Benanti joined the cast as the formidable Quinn, giving birth to her first daughter, Ella Rose, with husband Patrick Brown in February 2017. Foster’s daughter Emily is warmly referred to as a “little tomato” by her proud mom, who constantly cherishes their gardening time together.
Duff’s daughter Banks made her entrance in October 2018, followed by Mae in March 2021, born with the presence of costar Molly Bernard. On January 28, 2023, Molly Bernard welcomed her first child with wife Hannah Lieberman. “We are overjoyed and more in love than we ever imagined,” Bernard wrote, sharing her excitement about new parenthood.
Nico Tortorella, another cast member, expressed pure joy as they welcomed their daughter Kilmer Dove Tortorella Meyers in March 2023. “Everyone is healthy, eating, sleeping, and pooping like a champ,” they shared. Meanwhile, Duff celebrated the arrival of her fourth child, Townes, in May 2024.
The community among the cast extends to their children as well, highlighting a tight-knit bond that goes beyond the screen. As more kids come into the world, the legacy of “Younger” continues, intertwined with joyful family moments and memories that will last a lifetime.
