Schwartz and Sandoval Uncertain About ‘VPR’s Future’

Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval have shared their thoughts on the uncertain future of Vanderpump Rules as discussions about a potential season 12 linger. Speaking exclusively with Us Weekly at the recent 6th Annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala, Schwartz expressed his optimism regarding the show’s return. At 42 years old, he stated, “I don’t know what the future holds. I’m optimistic. I’d love to film again. This is my family.” Schwartz reflected on his journey over the past 14 years, noting how he has practically grown up on camera since the show began when he was in his late 20s. He enjoys maintaining connections with most of the cast and is looking forward to stepping back into the filming environment.

Vanderpump Rules, which debuted in 2013 as a spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, follows the lives of staff members at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant. Schwartz and Sandoval, who also is 42, were originally bartenders on the series alongside Sandoval’s former girlfriend Ariana Madix. The ensemble also includes notable figures like Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, and James Kennedy.

Despite the anticipation, details about season 12 remain scarce. Sources close to production have indicated that talks about the next season are still in progress. The show’s cast has faced ongoing inquiries about its future lately. Season 11 aired during the summer, yet filming for new episodes has yet to commence. A source relayed to Us Weekly that conversations regarding the show’s direction are ongoing.

Sandoval, who co-owns two Los Angeles restaurants alongside Schwartz, echoed similar sentiments about the series’ future. “I’m excited to see what the future holds in that aspect,” he conveyed to Us Weekly at the same gala, where he attended with his girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson. He reflected on the possibility of change when the show is back, adding, “What I’ve learned to do is just accept the future with open arms and see what happens.”

As the cast members navigate questions about their future with Vanderpump Rules, Schwartz and Sandoval both appeared eager to embrace whatever direction the show may take. While Bravo has yet to make an official announcement regarding a renewal for season 12, both Schwartz and Sandoval were seen celebrating with former co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Peter Madrigal at the gala, praising Vanderpump for her contributions to their lives and careers.

With the show’s developments still shrouded in uncertainty, fans are left awaiting further information about Vanderpump Rules and its potential season 12.
