Bruce Smith Backs Josh Allen for NFL MVP

Bruce Smith has thrown his support behind Josh Allen for the NFL MVP, declaring, “He has my vote.” In a recent conversation, the legendary Pro Football Hall of Famer stated that if the season were to end today, Allen would be the clear choice for the league’s most coveted award. This endorsement comes hot on the heels of Allen’s impressive performance that led the Buffalo Bills to a victory over the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Smith highlighted that while Allen is currently playing at an elite level, consistent performance over the next two months will be crucial for him to firmly stake his claim on the MVP title. He expressed admiration for Allen’s play, noting, “This is the best that I’ve seen him play,” as the quarterback has dazzled fans and analysts alike during the opening stretch of the season.

However, Smith cautioned that while the MVP accolade is significant, Allen should aspire to even greater heights, particularly a Super Bowl victory. Following the triumph against Kansas City, Smith believes that the Bills are in a strong position to contend for a championship this year. “This is what gives us that confidence to know that we can go out on any given Sunday and compete and beat anyone on our schedule,” he stated.

When asked if he would partake in the traditional Bills Mafia celebration of jumping through a table if the team secures a title, Smith playfully declined, stating that while he may not join in, he would certainly be there in spirit, cheering from the sidelines when the moment arrives.
