Kanye West Sued for Assault by ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Alum on Music Video Set

Kanye West Faces Assault Allegations from Former Model on Music Video Set

Kanye West is back in the headlines as he faces serious accusations of assault and inappropriate conduct in a new lawsuit. The suit, filed in New York by Jenifer An, an alum of America’s Next Top Model, details alarming claims arising from her time working with the rapper on the set of La Roux’s music video for “In for the Kill.”

According to court documents, obtained by various outlets, Jenifer claims that Kanye targeted her during filming, forcing her to participate in a scene where he allegedly choked her and simulated non-consensual acts. The chilling legal filing states that Kanye, with one hand around her neck, proceeded to strangle her with both hands while also thrusting his fingers down her throat. Amid these actions, he reportedly shouted, “This is art. This is f-cking art. I am like Picasso.”

Jenifer describes a harrowing experience in which she struggled to breathe, fearing that she might black out. After the incident, she alleged that her face was left covered in saliva and her makeup was smeared.

Jenifer is seeking damages, highlighting a disturbing reality for women in the music and entertainment industries, which she notes can often become dangerous environments rife with abuse. “Women have been subjected to sexual abuse for years, often without any means to speak out or instigate change,” she stated. “I aim to hold abusers accountable through legal avenues and create much-needed change.”

As of now, Kanye West has not publicly responded to these serious allegations. This lawsuit follows a separate case he faced earlier this month involving a former employee.
