Prince Harry ‘Fears’ Trump May Deport Him Over Visa Drug Controversy

Prince Harry is reportedly in a state of anxiety over the possibility of being expelled from the United States by Donald Trump following his recent electoral victory. Sources say that the Duke of Sussex feels vulnerable to political retaliation, especially with Trump set to assume office again. This scenario would leave Harry, who has already faced exclusion from the U.K. by his father, King Charles, in a precarious position.

In a notable development, Harry and his American wife, Meghan Markle, made a substantial investment in a home in Portugal for $4.7 million. This purchase seems to be a strategic move amid concerns stemming from Harry’s admission in his memoir, Spare, where he confessed to past drug use, including cocaine and marijuana. Under U.S. immigration laws, Harry’s visa status could be jeopardized if it was proven that he lied about his past substance use during the application process. A conservative think tank allied with Trump has even initiated a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security to unseal Harry’s visa application documents.

Insiders report that the couple is increasingly worried about the fallout from Harry’s revelations, especially since Meghan has been openly critical of Trump since 2016. An unnamed source stated that the Sussexes have constructed a sort of “escape plan,” having bought their new property in Portugal as a contingency against the risk of deportation.

Currently residing in a lavish $14 million mansion in Montecito, California, Harry and Meghan are raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in a setting that, for now, feels secure. However, Trump has previously expressed his disapproval of Harry, accusing him of ungratefulness towards the late Queen Elizabeth II. When asked about Harry’s immigration status, Trump openly declared that he would not intervene if Harry were to be deported, stating that he deemed Harry’s actions toward the monarchy as unforgivable.

Meanwhile, the Heritage Foundation, led by director Nile Gardiner, is optimistic about appealing a recent federal court decision that kept Harry’s visa records sealed. With Trump’s new administration potentially allowing for a review of Harry’s immigration status, there are mounting pressures on the ex-royal. Gardiner suggested that the release of Harry’s immigration records would serve the public interest and help maintain accountability.

There is ongoing speculation about Harry’s future in America, especially after leaving his royal duties for a more Hollywood-driven lifestyle. Given the turbulent political climate and Meghan’s past criticisms of Trump, some insiders believe Harry might consider relocating to Portugal permanently to remain under the radar while still being close to his ailing father.

As elections and legalities swirl around them, the Sussexes’ next moves remain uncertain as they navigate these tumultuous waters.
