Marvin and Rochelle Humes embark on ‘unconventional Christmas’ as fans support them

Marvin and Rochelle Humes head to Dubai for a unique Christmas celebration, igniting mixed reactions from fans. The couple, known for their lavish lifestyles, is enjoying their 12th getaway of 2024 with their children, opting for sun-soaked days over traditional holiday festivities at home.

Rochelle, a presenter on This Morning, took to Instagram on December 22 to share glimpses of their vacation, captioning the post, “Our unconventional Christmas has begun,” alongside a surfing emoji. The family appears to be relishing their time on the beaches of Dubai, where Marvin was spotted walking with their son Blake and daughter Valentina.

This trip follows their recent move into a luxurious £5 million mansion they constructed from scratch. The couple purchased a substantial plot of land for £3 million, allowing them to build their dream home. Despite the apparent opulence of their new residence, some social media users have expressed discontent over their choice to spend Christmas away, questioning why they wouldn’t celebrate in their newly built home.

Rochelle has faced scrutiny before regarding her family’s travel habits, notably when they took a £700-a-night vacation to the Maldives earlier this year. They have also visited other destinations including Spain, Paris, and Italy throughout 2024.

In response to fan inquiries about their holiday plans, Rochelle humorously noted that once their home is fully ready, they might consider a different approach to Christmas. When a follower asked about their dedication to a traditional home celebration, another quipped about their choice of location. However, many fans rallied behind the couple, praising their hard work throughout the year and encouraging them to enjoy their holiday.

As Marvin and Rochelle embrace their unconventional Christmas, they continue to draw attention both for their lifestyle choices and their family-oriented adventures, reminding us that every family can create their own version of holiday celebrations.
