However, their romance crumbled dramatically when John learned about her involvement with Ground Force’s sound technician, Andy Simmonds.

In a revealing interview, John recounted the moment his intuition kicked in after receiving a call meant for Charlie. He confronted her during a photoshoot, leading to a tense exchange. Charlie initially tried to downplay the situation, claiming Andy was merely a friend. John pressed her further, asking why she hadn’t invited Andy to their home if he was just a friend.
