Christine McGuinness upset by ex Paddy’s divorce jokes in stand-up tour

Christine McGuinness Expresses Heartbreak After Ex-Husband Paddy McGuinness Makes Jokes About Their Divorce During Stand-Up Tour

In a recent revelation, Christine McGuinness has been left feeling heartbroken after her ex-husband, Paddy McGuinness, cracked jokes about their divorce in his new stand-up tour. Paddy has embarked on a massive tour, planning to perform more than 40 shows across the UK through April 2025.

Right from the start of his performance in Blackburn, Paddy made light of his separation from Christine, humorously suggesting that the audience would be helping him “pay” for his divorce. While this humor resonated with attendees, it did not sit well with Christine. According to a source close to her, Christine was deeply upset by the situation, feeling as though she had become the target of ridicule. The source shared, “She was devastated yesterday and was horrified to be a laughing stock. She didn’t anticipate that Paddy would make her the subject of his jokes, which left her in shock.”

Christine has remained largely respectful and silent amid ongoing divorce proceedings and the aftermath of their marriage. The insider added, “She felt very low about this. Christine is focusing on her family and her work projects that bring her happiness. She is not interested in criticizing anyone; she was simply distraught at the thought of people laughing at her.”

Paddy and Christine ended their 11-year marriage in 2022. Meanwhile, Christine has been exploring new relationships. In August, during an appearance on Loose Women, she disclosed that she was back on the dating scene, though she kept details about her new love interest private. She expressed her enjoyment in dating but mentioned, “I’m not doing the cooking,” emphasizing that she prefers not to dine out.

When it comes to future marriage, Christine has dismissed the idea of tying the knot again. In a July interview, she stated, “I think getting married again is something I would definitely rule out. I’ve experienced that, had the big white wedding, and was married for 15 years. It’s not something I’m in any rush to repeat.”

Christine’s focus remains on her family and her professional life while she navigates this challenging chapter.
