“I don’t have TikTok, and neither does my son,” she stated in her Instagram message. “But there’s this woman who seems fixated on him, establishing profiles all over the internet.” Burton Morgan continued, addressing her followers about the seriousness of the situation, saying it is unacceptable for someone to steal the identity of a minor. She detailed that they had reached out to the perpetrator’s family, contacted law enforcement, and emphasized legal repercussions due to the offender’s actions.

In a follow-up message later that day, she confirmed that the initial TikTok account had been removed but identified another platform where the impersonation persisted. “The TikTok account is taken down, but it connected to a YouTube account where she was also pretending to be Gus,” she explained, revealing that she had taken further steps, including involving campus police and local community members in the matter.
