Jennie Garth experienced an unexpected yet comforting reunion with her ex-husband Peter Facinelli while evacuating during the severe wildfires affecting Los Angeles. The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star, along with her husband Dave Abrams, turned to Peter’s house during the emergency. In a heartfelt interview, Jennie described the situation as a “natural choice,” revealing that their daughters suggested heading to their father’s home. The family ended up gathering, watching the news, and sharing a meal of Chinese food, which Jennie found to be a warm and comforting experience amid the chaos.

Jennie and Peter were married for almost 11 years before their split in 2012. They share three daughters: Luca, 27, Lola, 22, and Fiona, 18. For the girls, the reunion likely stirred nostalgic feelings, as Jennie playfully mentioned that they might have had “pinch me moments” seeing their parents together in a relaxed setting again.

The actress noted that her relationship with Peter had become more amicable, crediting a recent appearance he made on her podcast “I Choose Me” for helping clear the air between them. She expressed appreciation for their renewed friendship and acknowledged Peter’s fiancée and their son, which has contributed to a positive dynamic.

During the recent evacuation, Jennie and her family faced the terrifying reality of the fires, noting that they could see flames not far from their home. The frightening experience prompted them to reach out to Peter, leading to a family dinner that provided a much-needed distraction from the turmoil outside.

Ultimately, their home was not affected by the fires, but the experience highlighted the importance of family unity in challenging times. Jennie and Dave reflected on their unusual week and the poignancy of sharing a meal together in Peter’s home for the first time, a moment they cherished despite the circumstances.
