Palace Payback Hits ‘New Low’: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘Unlikely’ to Ever Be Invited to This Certain Royal Event Ever Again

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Face Exclusion from Royal Christmas Gatherings

According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be permanently excluded from a significant annual royal event, raising eyebrows among royal watchers. Sources reveal that the British royal family is “highly unlikely” to extend invitations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for future Christmas festivities, as per insights from RadarOnline.com.

A family insider disclosed, “Charles Spencer has extended an invitation to Harry, Meghan, and their children to join him at Althorp this Christmas. However, it’s still uncertain whether they’ll accept the offer.” The couple has reportedly seen a decline in invitations to royal events since stepping back from their royal duties. After their last royal Christmas in 2018, the Sussexes were invited to stay at Sandringham House, the royal family’s traditional holiday retreat, each year. Yet, the invitations for 2022 and 2023 remain unclear given King Charles III’s ascension.

This apparent snub has been described by a Hollywood insider as a “new low” for the royals. “It seems that due to repeated refusals of royal invitations, the King has chosen to stop sending them,” a palace insider opined. “This doesn’t mean he has ill feelings toward them; after all, they are still his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.”

Another source from the Spencer family mentioned, “While there has yet to be an invitation for Sandringham this year, we cannot rule out the possibility. However, it’s improbable that an invitation would be accepted, regardless.”

Following their rift, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have experienced a noticeable reduction in royal event invites, further complicating their ties to the monarchy. The year 2018 marked their last participation in the royal Christmas gathering, with escalating tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family paving the way for this estrangement.

Sources close to the Spencer family indicated that they are actively working behind the scenes to mend the relationship between the brothers. They recognize Prince William’s feelings of betrayal but also empathize with Harry given the historical treatment of their mother, Princess Diana, by the royal family.

Reports have emerged that during Prince Harry’s recent visit to the UK for a memorial service, he chose to stay with his uncle at Althorp House rather than with his father. A family friend revealed, “Harry holds Althorp as a special place, especially since it’s where his mother is laid to rest.”

As the rift remains prominent and royal invitations wane, it seems likely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may continue to decline any unified royal invites they receive in the future.
