Saoirse Ronan is making headlines as she attends the world premiere of her latest film! The 30-year-old Academy Award-nominated actress was spotted alongside her co-stars Elliott Heffernan and Harris Dickinson during the exciting Opening Night Gala of the 2024 BFI London Film Festival. The event took place on October 9 at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England.

Other notable cast members spotted at the premiere included Paul Weller, Stephen Graham, Benjamin Clementine, Erin Kellyman, Leigh Gill, Mica Ricketts, CJ Beckford, Alex Jennings, and Sally Messham. The film’s acclaimed director and writer, Steve McQueen, made an appearance with his wife Bianca Stigter and their two children, Alex and Dexter.

The film, titled “Blitz,” tells the gripping story of a young boy named George, played by Heffernan, who is sent away by his mother, Rita (Ronan), to escape the dangers of World War II London. In a quest to reunite with his mother and grandfather Gerald (Weller) in East London, George finds himself amidst perilous adventures, while Rita desperately searches for her son.

“Blitz” is set to hit select theaters on November 1 and will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting November 22. Audiences can catch a glimpse of the film by watching the trailer now.
