Sharon Osbourne’s Health Crisis: ‘Walking Skeleton’ Struggles to Eat and Gain Weight After Ozempic Use

Sharon Osbourne is raising significant health concerns after a recent shopping trip where she appeared extremely gaunt, leaving many stunned at her drastic transformation. The 72-year-old music manager has reportedly lost over 42 pounds due to her use of the weight-loss medication Ozempic. Friends and onlookers are increasingly worried as she battles to stabilize her weight.

Dressed in a white and black jacket over a button-down cardigan and dark leather pants, Osbourne was spotted at a Bristol Farms in Los Angeles, seemingly in good spirits while loading her car with holiday treats, including panettone and baguettes. However, witnesses couldn’t help but express their alarm at her frail appearance. One bystander remarked on her alarming condition, stating she looks like “a walking skeleton” and is “close to death” if her weight loss continues.

After her notable weight loss, Osbourne has reportedly struggled with her metabolism, which has become irreparably damaged, according to friends who have spoken out. They highlight the potential dangers of rapid weight-loss solutions, stressing that such fixes can lead to serious health consequences. Despite her attempts to eat high-calorie foods, Osbourne has been unable to regain the weight, which has left her feeling frustrated and distressed.

Over the years, the television personality has faced the public spotlight and undergone numerous cosmetic surgeries, including gastric bands, facelifts, tummy tucks, and Botox. Last December, she drew attention when it was revealed that she had lost a significant amount of weight after starting Ozempic in November 2022. Although she initially embraced the drug’s effects, she now seems to lament her decision, as friends reveal her ongoing struggle to regain a more balanced physique.

Previously, Osbourne shared her experiences with the drug, which caused nausea and a lack of hunger. She recounted reaching a low weight of about 97 pounds and realizing she needed to stop the weight loss. Discussing the changes, she noted, “Doctors can’t figure it out, but I believe it’s just my age catching up with me.”

According to Osbourne, the uncomfortable side effects of Ozempic can include nausea, vomiting, and more severe gastrointestinal issues. Reflecting on her journey with the medication, she issued a warning against its use among teenagers, citing the risks of developing an unhealthy obsession with weight loss.

In a separate conversation three years prior, Osbourne discussed the fallout from a facelift that went wrong, revealing it left her looking disproportionate. She described the experience as one of the worst decisions she has ever made, claiming she resembled a “cyclops” during recovery due to the surgery’s uneven results.

As Osbourne continues to navigate her health challenges, her emphasis on balanced weight management has never been more crucial. The ongoing scrutiny of her condition serves as a reminder of the significant impact that celebrity culture and quick-fix solutions can have on personal well-being.
