Taylor Denies Shep’s Claim About Her Family Wanting Them Together

Southern Charm star Taylor Ann Green is setting the record straight following Shep Rose’s recent statements regarding her family’s feelings about her new relationship. In a confessional during the show’s tenth season, Shep, 44, claimed to know that Taylor’s family—including her parents and grandparents—“wish she was still with me.”

Taylor’s new boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, made his debut on Southern Charm this season. The couple has been together since 2023, nearly a year after Taylor, 30, parted ways with Shep, following a tumultuous two-year romance.

In response to Shep’s comments, Taylor took to her Instagram Story on December 6. She expressed her frustration, stating, “I need to make it clear that my parents, my grandparents, and even my recently deceased grandfather are thrilled that I’ve moved on and found a much healthier relationship. This statement is incomprehensible. What planet are you living on?”

She went further to highlight Shep’s past infidelity, saying, “You cheated on me four times that I know of, and you think my family wants me with you??? That’s just delusional. Thank goodness I’m everything your ‘girlfriend’ isn’t.”

Taylor also emphasized her desire to distance herself from Shep, declaring, “I want nothing to do with you. Stay out of my life and my new relationship.” While Shep has not publicly reacted to her remarks, he has previously acknowledged his unfaithfulness in their relationship. In a recent episode, he mentioned that “cheating on [Taylor] was fun” but later tried to clarify his comments.

Despite the past drama, Taylor appears to have found happiness with Gaston, saying in an interview that she now knows what she wants out of life. While filming the current season, she made it clear there’s no reason to maintain any connection with Shep, highlighting the need for respect in her new relationship.

As for Shep, he has reportedly moved on as well, mentioning a love interest named Sienna Evans in the Southern Charm trailer. In response to the unfolding events, Taylor remarked, “I’m just relieved that I’m in a happy place and focus on what’s important to me.”
