Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle Chrisley has been arrested for aggravated assault following his claims that a man had threatened his family.

Kyle Chrisley seems to have a knack for finding trouble.

Sydtomarket.net has learned that the reality star was arrested after an altercation with an unnamed man who Kyle claimed had been “threatening me for MONTHS.”

According to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, Kyle, 33, was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest on Monday, September 9.

Kyle shared arrest photos on his Instagram account.

He was released on a $6,500 bond, and a court hearing is set for December, as reported by InTouch.

After his arrest, Kyle took to Instagram to refute the allegations, describing the man’s actions as endangering his family.

Kyle accused the man of threatening his family, attempting to extort him, and damaging his property.

In his post, Kyle included a photo of himself on the ground with handcuffs on, while two officers stood nearby.

He wrote: “Let me get this straight. A man who has been threatening me for MONTHS, trying to extort money, saying he’ll destroy me if I don’t pay, has made threats to MY CHILD, my wife, and my truck, and then COMES TO MY HOUSE, puts hands on ME, tries to extort money, threatens me — and I’m not allowed to defend myself and my property?”

Kyle also posted damage to his wife’s car.

Kyle continued, claiming the man deliberately hit his wife’s car, taunted him by revving his engine, and threatened him.

The post further stated: “Then he RAMS my wife’s car on PURPOSE, yelling, ‘I’ll be back, I got you,’ and comes back a minute later, speeding through my neighborhood, yelling out the window that he’ll KILL me, that nowhere is safe from him, and that I won’t scare him.”

He added: “My wife calls you, hysterical, begging for help — so you finally come and arrest me for AGGRAVATED ASSAULT based on his claim that I cut him? Then you charge me with resisting arrest because I’m asking why I’m being arrested and he’s not? And you tell my wife you don’t know who’s at fault for her car being damaged because it’s private property?”

In March 2023, Kyle faced felony aggravated assault charges.

Kyle also criticized the police for allegedly mishandling evidence, questioning the rationale behind his arrest.

“This isn’t my first run-in with the law,” Kyle noted. In March 2023, he was charged with felony aggravated assault for threatening his boss during a dispute over his paycheck. The charges were later dismissed.
