Reflecting on his tough upbringing—his mother’s death and his involvement in drug dealing by age 12—the rapper is determined to offer his 12-year-old son, Sire, a life of privilege, away from the struggles he faced. Sire’s mother is 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy.

The Power star shared with US Weekly that he is “building an empire for my son,” and his empire extends well beyond his music career. Despite not releasing new music for a decade, 50 Cent remains influential with 37 million Spotify listeners and was part of the acclaimed 2022 Super Bowl halftime show with Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige.

50 Cent owns 100% of Sire Spirits, a brand named after his son, which includes award-winning Le Chemin du Roi champagne and Branson Cognac. This is just a segment of the empire he’s building for Sire.
