Concerns Grow for Karen Hauer’s Future on Strictly

Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing are voicing their apprehensions regarding the future of Karen Hauer after her recent elimination alongside partner Paul Merson. The duo found themselves in the dance-off against JB Gill and Amy Dowden, and when the judges chose to save Gill and Dowden, Hauer and Merson were sent packing, stirring up discussions among fans.

Many viewers took to social media to express their disappointment and hopes for Hauer’s return next season. One fan tweeted a wish for Karen to be paired with a strong partner, emphasizing her talent. “I hope if Karen comes back next year, she gets a ringer and can do some full-out choreography. She deserves that opportunity after finishing 12th for four consecutive years,” they commented.

Another fan chimed in, highlighting the joy Karen exhibited this season, saying, “I actually loved Paul and Karen. Please, Strictly, give her a contender next year; she’s never looked so happy on the show.” However, not all comments were supportive, as some feared for Hauer’s longevity on the program. One user lamented, “This is the fourth series in a row where Karen has come 12th… I don’t think she needs to come back next year.”

Following their exit, Karen took to Instagram to reflect on her experience with Paul Merson. She highlighted the importance of embracing challenges and having fun. “There are a couple of things I came away with from teaching the legend that is Paul Merson. You must have fun, but most importantly, live in the moment,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude for the journey.

Fans expressed their sorrow over the couple’s departure from the competition, with comments like, “I’m GUTTED. LOVED seeing Paul’s progress! Wish you could have stayed in longer,” and “Loved how Paul gave it his all!! Will miss this partnership!! All about the fun!”

As speculation about Karen’s future continues, will Strictly Come Dancing provide her with the opportunity to shine with a new partner next season? Only time will tell.
