Zachery Ty Bryan from Home Improvement Arrested for DUI in Oklahoma

Zachery Ty Bryan, known for his role on the hit show Home Improvement, has found himself in legal trouble once again. The 43-year-old actor was arrested in Oklahoma on the morning of October 25 for suspicion of driving under the influence. According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Department, Bryan is facing charges of DUI: second felony offense and driving without a valid license. This arrest adds to a long list of legal issues he has encountered over the years.

Bryan’s first DUI incident dates back to May 2020, when he entered a guilty plea for a previous charge. He was sentenced to five years of probation and enrolled in an 18-month alcohol rehabilitation program due to his history of DUI offenses.

Just days after his latest arrest, Bryan was spotted enjoying himself at local bars in La Quinta, California, raising eyebrows about his behavior following such serious legal troubles. In addition to his DUI issues, Bryan has faced allegations of domestic violence. He was arrested in October 2020 after an incident involving his partner, Johnnie Faye Cartwright. Subsequent to that arrest, Bryan accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault. In July 2023, he admitted guilt to a felony assault charge relating to domestic violence.

After his sentencing, Cartwright expressed her desire for privacy while dealing with the aftermath of the situation. She emphasized the importance of respect for their family’s healing process and the well-being of their three children.

Earlier this year, Bryan was also arrested for DUI again, along with contempt of court charges, following a traffic stop. His ongoing legal issues paint a troubling picture of an actor struggling with personal demons.

As this situation continues to develop, fans of Bryan and followers of celebrity news are left to wonder what the future holds for the former child star.
