Trump’s Language Skills Comparable to an 8-Year-Old, Poll Reveals After Voting Confidence Statement

Researchers have discovered that former President Donald Trump’s language usage is comparable to that of an eight-year-old child. This revelation came in the wake of the recent presidential debate held in September, where the Republican candidate expressed his belief on election day that the results would not even be close.

According to a research conducted by QR Code Generator, an analysis was performed on the linguistic complexity exhibited by Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris following the debate on September 11, 2024. The results showed that Trump’s language aligns with children aged eight to nine, while Harris’s language is more suited to children aged eleven to thirteen.

The study indicated that Trump articulated 824 sentences with an average length of about 11.74 words each. Out of nearly 9,700 words spoken, only a small fraction—601—were deemed complex according to the Flesch-Kincaid Grade level, resulting in a Flesch-Kincaid Grade score of 3.12. This score suggests a linguistic proficiency at the level of a third-grader.

In contrast, Harris, while using fewer words overall—about 6,700—demonstrated a higher level of complexity in her language. She employed 762 complex words with an average sentence length of 18.48 words, translating to a Flesch-Kincaid Grade score of 6.60, equivalent to a sixth-grader’s level.

Marc Porcar, the CEO of QR Code Generator, commented on the findings, noting that politicians face the challenge of simplifying complicated ideas into digestible sentences to connect with a broad audience. He highlighted that Harris’s average sentence length was 57 percent longer than Trump’s, and her vocabulary included 26 percent more complex words.

As Election Day approached, Trump conducted multiple rallies across the country, addressing issues related to a declining nation, crime, and economic challenges. In one of his appearances, he claimed, “Over the last four years, Americans have suffered one catastrophic failure, betrayal, and humiliation after another.” He expressed his confidence that, should he be elected, he would tackle every problem facing the nation.

Meanwhile, Harris concluded her campaigning in Philadelphia and visited several locations in hopes of swaying undecided voters. She engaged with residents while emphasizing the importance of their votes.

With the election looming, the competition between Trump and Harris is tight, with betting markets still favoring Trump. On the morning of Election Day, he and Melania Trump cast their votes in Florida, reiterating his optimism about the election outcome.

As the nation awaits the results, both candidates remain deeply entrenched in their final appeals to voters.
