Disney/Pixar Releases Second Teaser Trailer for ‘Elio’ Ahead of Summer 2025 Release

Disney and Pixar have just dropped the second teaser trailer for their upcoming animated feature, Elio, set to hit theaters on June 13, 2025. Initially slated for a March release, the film’s debut was delayed to allow the creative team to make some adjustments. This marks Pixar’s 29th major film, following the success of Inside Out 2 earlier this year.

What’s Elio all about? The story presents a unique twist on the concept of searching for one’s destiny. The film centers on Elio, a boy obsessed with aliens, who unexpectedly finds himself in the Communiverse—a vibrant, intergalactic paradise filled with intelligent beings from distant galaxies. Mistaken for the leader of Earth, Elio must forge unlikely friendships and confront a looming galactic crisis while chasing his ultimate dream.

The voice cast features rising star Yonas Kibreab as Elio, alongside Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly as Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa, and Shirley Henderson lending her voice to OOOOO.
