Jennifer Aniston ‘Fuming’ Over Angelina Jolie’s Oscar Chances After Brad Pitt Split

Jennifer Aniston reportedly seething over Angelina Jolie’s Oscar buzz

Jennifer Aniston is said to be unable to let go of her long-standing rivalry with Angelina Jolie, especially now that Jolie is being considered a frontrunner for an Oscar, which reportedly stirs fresh animosity in their decades-long feud.

The tension between the beloved romcom star and Jolie, known for her role in Maleficent, dates back to 2004 when Jolie famously became involved with Brad Pitt while they were filming Mr & Mrs Smith. Sources indicate Aniston’s frustration has only intensified as she watches Jolie gain acclaim.

According to insiders, the animosity is still palpable, although Aniston’s support network isn’t what it used to be. “The bad blood is boiling, but Jen isn’t getting the same level of backing she did two decades ago,” a close source revealed. The insider went on to mention that “recruiting allies for the I Hate Angelina club is a lot tougher now.”

Following their divorce in 2005 after nearly five years of marriage, Pitt quickly moved on with Jolie, and together they had three biological and three adopted children. Their relationship ended in turmoil in 2016. Despite Aniston and Pitt mending their friendship over the years and claiming there’s no awkwardness, sources maintain the rift between Aniston and Jolie remains unhealed.

“There’s zero chance of these two ever reconciling,” another insider noted, adding that Aniston firmly believes both she and Pitt fell victim to Jolie’s calculated actions.

As Jolie’s Oscar nomination seems a certainty for her portrayal of Maria Callas in the upcoming biopic Maria, the rivalry is likely to escalate even further. “This feud has become exhausting, and both would benefit from moving on,” remarked a source. “But Jen sees Angie as an adversary for life.”

This ongoing battle between the two Hollywood heavyweights shows no signs of resolution, keeping fans intrigued by their complex history.
