During that infamous appearance, the 82-year-old TV personality squared off against Schofield, leading her to brand him a “big phoney” after he called out her behavior on Celebrity Big Brother. Fast forward to now, and Woodburn is ready to share her thoughts about both Schofield, 62, and his former co-host Willoughby, 43, labeling Schofield as “rude” in a recent interview.

Reflecting on Schofield’s career, Woodburn stated, “Phillip started out as a fantastic presenter. There’s no denying it. He hosted numerous shows exceptionally well and was quite likable. But somewhere along the way, he became too full of himself. The last several years, when I was on the show, he was rude and overbearing, sitting at the edge of the sofa, looking down on me.”

Shifting her focus to Holly, Woodburn had pointed words as well: “What role did she ever play on the show? She spent 14 years riding the coattails of Schofield, earning easy money while he engaged in serious discussions. When the arguments happened, what was Holly doing?” Woodburn suggested that had it not been for Schofield, Willoughby may not have lasted on the show for as long as she did.

This isn’t the first time Woodburn has voiced her feelings toward the pair. Last year, amid a scandal involving Schofield’s departure from ITV following revelations about his controversial relationship with a younger colleague, Woodburn was quick to condemn both hosts.

In the public discourse surrounding Schofield’s unraveling career, Woodburn remarked, “He was consistently rude and judgmental, often looking at his guests as if they were beneath him. It’s shocking that he dared to judge others when he had his own secrets lurking in the shadows.”
