Speaking with OK!, Kordell shared that both his father and Odell encouraged him to be genuine during his reality TV experience. “They told me to be the best Kordell I can be and not to change for anyone,” he recounted. Kordell stated, “I know who I am, and I wanted to remain true to that.”

Throughout his journey in the Love Island villa, Kordell’s true self shone brightly. “I’m always honest and real,” he declared, underscoring his commitment to staying genuine in a competitive environment. Leaving the show as a couple with his girlfriend, Serena Page, Kordell reflected on their adjustment to life in California. “It’s everything we hoped for,” he expressed. “Being out of the spotlight allows us to just enjoy each other’s company.”

While on the show, Kordell revealed his aspiration to team up with Cheez-It, and shortly thereafter, he was appointed the brand’s Chief Fantaseez Officer. “It’s unreal seeing my dreams come to life,” he said, highlighting how a special flavor he launched with Cheez-It quickly sold out. “The first release flew off the shelves, and the second time, the website crashed. It was just incredible,” he joked.
