Lesley Joseph and Miriam Margolyes to join Celebrity Gogglebox

Lesley Joseph is set to make her debut on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside her new ‘partner in crime,’ Miriam Margolyes. The eagerly awaited Channel 4 show is returning this Friday, October 25, for a special Stand Up For Cancer episode, featuring some familiar faces alongside the new duo.

Lesley Joseph, known for her iconic role as Dorien Green in the classic sitcom Birds of a Feather, and Miriam Margolyes, who has graced the screens in productions like Harry Potter and Call the Midwife, are both excited about their upcoming appearance.

In a statement reflecting her enthusiasm, Lesley shared, “What a joy it is to be doing Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer this year, as it’s such a vital cause and tangibly changes lives. I’m looking forward to watching TV with Miriam; she’s known for her outrageous comments, and I’ll have my hands full trying to keep her in check.”

Miriam echoed her excitement, describing Lesley as a perfect match. “When they asked me to do Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer, I thought, if I can watch television AND help a fantastic cause, I’m in! Doing this with my brilliant old friend Lesley, whom I’ve known for nearly 40 years, makes it even better. Stand Up to Cancer does essential work, and if we can contribute, I’m ready to take a seat on the sofa.”

Joining them on the special episode are other celebrity duos, including Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, as well as Kristin Scott Thomas and Saskia Reeves. This lineup promises to be a hit with audiences.
