Martine McCutcheon faces second loss as she sells house after split from husband Jack

Martine McCutcheon Faces ‘Second Loss’ Amid House Sale Following Split from Jack

Martine McCutcheon, known for her roles in television and music, has had a challenging year, filled with health issues and the emotional toll of her separation from husband Jack McManus. As 2024 approaches its end, she finds herself potentially facing a significant financial loss stemming from the sale of their shared home.

The couple publicly announced their separation in August after nearly two decades together, leaving behind their nine-year-old son, Rafferty. Rumors suggest that Martine and Jack have put their marital home on the market for less than its original listing price, indicating urgency in their decision to sell.

Reports indicate that their mansion, initially valued at £1.5 million, was put up for sale three months before May. After purchasing the property for £1.3 million in June 2022, the asking price has reportedly been lowered to £1.25 million as the couple is eager to complete the sale. This means they could face a loss of nearly £250,000 if the selling price remains at the reduced amount.

This five-bedroom residence, set on a 3000 square foot lot in Surrey, has struggled to attract buyers since hitting the market seven months ago. Consequently, the couple has been compelled to lower the price to generate interest.

Neither Martine nor Jack has commented publicly on the sale of their home, and inquiries for further details have not been answered.

Reflecting on their separation, Martine shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing her acceptance of Jack’s decision after years together. They first crossed paths in the early 2000s and celebrated their marriage a decade later in 2012. In her post, Martine emphasized their shared devotion to their son Rafferty, stating that his happiness will always remain their top priority. Jack, when approached for a comment, chose to remain tight-lipped, leaving the public with no further insights into their situation.

With the end of the year approaching, both Martine and Jack are navigating an emotionally charged landscape, trying to manage personal and financial transitions gracefully.
