Ohio tattoo artist Session Turns Tragic as Woman Alleges Ohio Artist Raped Her at Gunpoint, Authorities Report

An Ohio tattoo artist has been arrested following allegations that he raped a woman at gunpoint who had come to his home for a tattoo, Sydtomarket.nethas learned.

On August 23, 22-year-old Mario Rodriguez Ibarra was taken into custody, as confirmed by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities responded to a reported rape at a residence in Columbus, according to officials.

Court documents obtained by WBNS reveal that the alleged victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, informed police that she had communicated with Ibarra via Facebook. They arranged for her to visit his home in Columbus for a tattoo.

Officials reported that Ibarra, accompanied by a male acquaintance, picked up the woman from her residence and drove her to his house.

The victim allegedly discussed getting a tattoo with Ibarra through Facebook before the incident, according to police.

While in Ibarra’s bedroom, the woman claimed he brandished a gun, forcibly removed her clothing, and raped her, as stated in the report.

The woman waited until Ibarra fell asleep, then dressed and left the house. She sought help from the male acquaintance, police said.

At the tattoo artist’s home, he allegedly held the victim at gunpoint and sexually assaulted her, officials reported.
