Queen Camilla Confronts Bed-Hopping Ghost That ‘Pinned Her Down’ Before Sending It Away

Queen Camilla had a spine-chilling encounter with a ghost, as revealed by her son Tom Parker-Bowles. During a recent appearance on Gyles Brandreth’s podcast “Rosebud,” Tom shared a peculiar story from his childhood in a house he described as haunted. At 77, Camilla recounted a night when she awoke to a spectral presence seemingly pinning her down in bed. “My mother says she woke up one night, and there was a presence sort of pinning her down in her bed,” Tom explained.

According to Tom, their family home in Allington, Wiltshire, was notorious for its ghostly activity. He noted that even the family dog would refuse to enter certain rooms, which were often associated with an unusual chill. “We’d hear tales of banquets happening downstairs that would leave others confused, as there would be nothing visible,” he continued. For kids, the unnerving atmosphere created an irrational fear of certain bedrooms, which felt persistently cold, even during summer months.

Tom also expressed admiration for his mother, who married King Charles III in 2005. He has been a staunch defender of her actions, especially following comments made by Prince Harry in his memoir, “Spare.” Tom stated, “I don’t care what anyone says — this wasn’t any sort of end game. She married the person she loved and this is what happened.”

In discussing his stepfather, Tom offered high praise for King Charles III, highlighting his forward-thinking approach to issues such as sustainability and environmental concerns. “He has always been ahead of his time,” Tom reflected, noting that ideas once thought eccentric are now relevant mainstream topics. As for the upcoming coronation, Tom acknowledged the weight of such a historical event, admitting, “I think anyone would be anxious on an occasion of this sort.”

Overall, it is clear that Tom shares a close bond with Queen Camilla and continues to stand by her side amidst public scrutiny.
