50 Cent has stirred up quite the buzz by posting an AI-generated deepfake video that depicts hip-hop icons Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs being arrested. Taking to Instagram on the night of December 10, 2024, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, shared the spoofed footage with a cheeky caption: “I want to post this but I’m afraid I’m gonna get shot. LOL.”

In this fabricated clip, set against the backdrop of KRS-One’s “Sound of Da Police,” the two music moguls, both 55 years old, are shown at what appears to be a public event, only to have police officers come in and handcuff them. The video comically shows them behind bars, champagne glasses in hand, exaggerating the scenario.

This post comes on the heels of serious allegations against Jay-Z, who has recently been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in a civil lawsuit filed on December 8, 2024. The supposed incident dates back to the early 2000s and allegedly occurred during an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. While both Jay-Z and Diddy have firmly denied these accusations, Diddy faces multiple allegations stemming from an earlier arrest in September.

50 Cent’s followers quickly took to the comments section of his post, expressing their amazement. One user exclaimed, “Whoever showed 50 how to use AI just opened up a whole new can of worms,” while another remarked on 50 Cent’s boldness in calling out others.

This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has targeted Jay-Z and Diddy amid ongoing legal controversies. Following Jay-Z’s appearance with his family at the Mufasa premiere, 50 Cent shared a meme joking about the situation, using humor to discuss the serious allegations against Jay-Z. The rapper even questioned the future of the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show set to be produced by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

50 Cent appears to be navigating a fine line between comic relief and genuine concern regarding the ramifications these allegations might have on major events like the Super Bowl. In an interview, he expressed that the NFL may eventually distance itself from Jay-Z due to these serious allegations, saying, “They will fall back … the NFL, they won’t necessarily be associated to that.”

As this drama unfolds, the hip-hop community and fans alike are watching closely, wondering what this all means for the future of its biggest stars and upcoming events.
