Cardi B Calls Out Prankster for Falsely Reporting Her to Child Services

Cardi B Issues Stern Warning to Prank Caller Behind False CPS Report

In a recent outburst on Instagram Live, Cardi B expressed her outrage towards an anonymous prank caller who reported her to Child Protective Services, claiming her children were in danger. The Grammy-winning rapper, who is a mother of three, was visibly upset while addressing the incident, which took place late at night when authorities arrived at her home.

“So I want to make this crystal clear,” Cardi declared in her livestream. “When you mess with my kids, you’ve crossed the line.” Though the exact timing of the CPS visit remains unclear, Cardi shared she was at a hospital receiving treatment for an undisclosed issue.

The incident rattled her, particularly as CPS arrived at her “gated mansion” at 11 p.m., claiming they received an anonymous tip about alleged abuse. Cardi vehemently criticized the call, questioning the sanity of someone making such a serious claim.

She also indicated her plans for legal repercussions against both the caller and CPS. “This is when the pranks are taken too far,” she stated emphatically. “Thinking this is a joke isn’t funny at all.” The rapper highlighted her family’s uniqueness in their neighborhood, pointing out they are the only people of color living there.

In her passionate monologue, Cardi vowed to track down the prankster, hinting at hiring a private investigator. “My kids are doing fantastic,” she emphasized. “They have never been harmed, no matter how annoying they can be. I don’t hit my kids.”

Cardi then threatened retaliation, stating, “If you’re a guy, my baby father is going to handle you. If you’re a woman, my sister and I will take care of you. You don’t mess with my kids.”

She wrapped up her rant by reminding her audience that not every situation is a joke. This incident is not unique to Cardi; other celebrities have also been victims of swatting—where dangerous pranks involve misleading reports to law enforcement, often resulting in high-stakes responses. Cases involving stars like Rihanna and Justin Bieber highlight the ongoing issue of celebrity safety and privacy intrusions.
