Rosie O’Donnell is facing backlash from conservatives as she continues to promote conspiracy theories about the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
Sydtomarket.net has learned that the former host of *The View* has been outspoken in her disbelief that a bullet struck Trump during the July 13 incident in Butler, Pennsylvania.
In a TikTok video, O’Donnell voiced her skepticism, stating, “I don’t know what happened that day, but I don’t believe it was a bullet that hit him. I think it might have been a fragment or something else. There’s no visible scar, yet there’s blood everywhere. And look at the photos—Trump is pumping his fist like it’s a normal reaction to almost being assassinated.”
Her comments have sparked a flood of social media reactions questioning her perspective.
O’Donnell went on to question why the incident isn’t being thoroughly investigated, saying, “Why isn’t there a deeper dive into this? Why is everyone just accepting that his ear is fine now? He’s not an octopus; we don’t regenerate body parts.”
O’Donnell’s remarks are not the only skepticism surrounding the event. Others are also questioning the details of the shooting, with some suggesting that Trump’s reaction and behavior were inconsistent with an assassination attempt.
As previously reported, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired at Trump during a rally, resulting in a bloodied Trump standing and pumping his fist while surrounded by Secret Service agents. Trump later claimed that the upper part of his right ear was injured in the shooting and expressed gratitude for his survival.
The shooting injured two spectators and killed former fire chief Corey Comperatore. Trump, who appeared with a bandage on his ear at the Republican National Convention, continued to express his belief that he was spared by divine intervention.
