GK Barry claims she’d be ‘good viewing’ as she’s reportedly in talks for I’m A Celebrity 2024

I’m A Celebrity 2024: GK Barry Responds to Speculation About Joining Line-Up

As the countdown begins for I’m A Celebrity 2024 on ITV1 next month, fans are buzzing with speculation about who might be heading into the jungle. Among the names circulating is that of GK Barry, freshly minted on the Loose Women panel since August. Reports suggest that she’s in advanced discussions to join the star-studded cast for the upcoming season, hosted by the ever-popular Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

In a recent chat with The Mirror, GK Barry, whose real name is Grace Keeling, opened up about her long-standing love for I’m A Celebrity, though she admitted it’s not all sunshine and rainbows in her eyes. “I’ve watched I’m A Celeb every year. It looks like absolute hell, to be honest. I hate bugs. I hate sleeping outside. I’ve never done it. And so I think that would be a lot,” she confessed.

Despite her fears, GK hinted that her phobias might just make for “good viewing.” “But I feel like it would also probably be good viewing for other people. You’ll have to wait and see,” she teased, leaving fans intrigued about her potential participation.

With her sights possibly set on the jungle, GK is rumored to have declined a spot on this season’s Strictly Come Dancing to pursue this opportunity instead. And she’s not alone; other names making waves include Giovanni Pernice, Tulisa Contostavlos, and Olympian Max Whitlock, not to mention her fellow Loose Women co-star Jane Moore, who is also rumored to be in talks for a trip Down Under.

As the excitement builds for I’m A Celebrity 2024, the question remains: will GK Barry indeed swap one ITV show for another? Keep your eyes peeled for future announcements, as this season promises to deliver plenty of surprises.
