Kathy Griffin is candid about the emotional toll her divorce from Randy Bick is exerting on her. In a recent discussion with Page Six, Griffin, 63, expressed her heartache, saying, “The divorce is what’s kicking my ass mentally. I thought I was going to be with this guy forever. I’m heartbroken, I admit it.” She acknowledged a sense of responsibility, stating, “I just didn’t think I’d be alone at this stage of the game, but hey, that’s on me.”

Despite the painful split, Griffin voiced her good wishes for Bick, expressing, “I wish him the best. I hope he meets somebody else. He just wasn’t the right guy for me. But he’ll be good for somebody else.” Known for her frankness, Griffin has openly navigated both the highs and lows of her life, from her beginnings in Illinois to her rise in the Los Angeles stand-up scene.

Griffin and Bick, who is significantly younger than her, started their romantic journey in 2011 but had a brief breakup in 2018. Reflecting on their first split, she mentioned on social media, “After 7 years, Randy and I have decided to part ways. It’s not acrimonious and I will always adore him.” In earlier interviews, she had expressed skepticism about the longevity of their relationship when it began, suggesting she thought of him as somewhat of a “man-whore” initially.

The couple rekindled their relationship in 2019 and wed on January 1, 2020, in a ceremony sweetened by the presence of comedian Lily Tomlin as the officiant. However, the marriage faced challenges, and Griffin filed for divorce in December 2023, citing irreconcilable differences after just four years.

The ongoing divorce process has proved challenging, with reports indicating Griffin struggled to serve the divorce papers to Bick, even resorting to hiring a private investigator in her search for him. Documents revealed that her efforts to find him had not yielded results, with plans to finalize the situation soon.

Earlier this year, amid her divorce drama, Griffin took to social media with a bold proclamation: “F Valentine’s Day,” expressing the emotional turmoil she was experiencing while preparing for her shows. As the Hollywood landscape continues to evolve, many couples are also experiencing their own transitions, as evidenced by various celebrity breakups that have made headlines in recent months.
