Ken Jeong Believes Wasp Is Usher on ‘The Masked Singer’

Ken Jeong Believes Wasp is Usher in The Masked Singer Preview

Ken Jeong has made some wild predictions during his time on The Masked Singer, but his latest guess has his fellow panelists scratching their heads in surprise. In an exclusive sneak peek from Us Weekly for the December 4 episode of the popular series, Jeong confidently claims to know who is hiding behind the Wasp costume. “I think the vocals, the dance moves, everything to me — the Wasp is stinging me with your friend Usher,” Jeong declared, convincing even the skeptical in the audience.

Typically, his co-stars chuckle at his theories, but this time, the crowd erupted into applause, leaving Jenny McCarthy amazed, stating, “Wow, they’re clapping!” Jeong pointed out that the clues associated with Wasp seemed to link directly to Usher, referencing the singer’s very public romantic history. He added, “There is a theme of love, and Usher has had a very public love life,” while further noting Usher’s remarkable performance during the Super Bowl halftime show this past year.

The question of identity has been a recurring theme on The Masked Singer since its launch in January 2019. Many celebrities have graced the stage, including Joey Fatone, Michelle Williams, and Patti LaBelle. Even show host Nick Cannon agreed with Jeong’s reasoning, remarking, “It’s not a bad guess, Ken!” In response, Jeong humorously quipped, “I’m stinging like a wasp, look at my stinger!”

The upcoming episode is pivotal, marking the quarterfinals of season 12, which kicked off in September. Alongside Wasp, other contestants still in the running include Strawberry Shortcake, Goo, and the Buffalos. Last week, participants Royal Knight and Sherlock Hound exited the competition in a Peanuts-themed episode that aired on Thanksgiving Day.

Before her departure, contestant Jana Kramer revealed that her husband was initially bewildered by her decision to join the show. “I was so thrilled when I got the text about The Masked Singer. My husband was confused,” she shared, explaining how excited she was when she got the opportunity.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox, continuing to captivate audiences with its mystery and celebrity performances.
