Sabrina Carpenter has just been recognized as HeadCount’s leading artist for voter registration in 2024, a notable accolade that underscores her impact in mobilizing voters. This information broke in a recent report, emphasizing that Carpenter’s fanbase has seized the opportunity to take part in their civic responsibilities.
HeadCount, a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating voter registration, collaborates with various musicians to create opportunities for engagement. Over the years, they have partnered with a host of well-known artists, including Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and Mary J. Blige, among others. However, this year, Sabrina Carpenter has emerged as a standout figure in this initiative.
As highlighted in a report, Sabrina has managed to engage more voters than any other artist associated with HeadCount in 2024. Impressively, she has directly assisted in registering over 35,000 new voters. Additionally, she has connected with more than 183,000 individuals, motivating many to verify their registration statuses, often through interactive methods like sweepstakes.
But Carpenter is not the only musician making waves in this arena. The organization’s collaboration with Green Day on their Saviors tour has set a new benchmark for voter engagement, achieving the highest turnout for a single tour to date. From July to September, the US leg of their tour managed to connect with over 61,000 voters and successfully register upwards of 7,900 new participants. This accomplishment has surpassed the previous record held by Ariana Grande during her Sweetener world tour in 2019.
Sabrina celebrated her achievement on Instagram, sharing the news and encouraging her followers to ensure their votes were counted, even inviting latecomers to participate in the electoral process.
