In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, expressed her unwavering admiration for her former husband, Prince Andrew. Reflecting on their relationship, she revealed that she was “totally and utterly in love” with him and would gladly relive their marriage. “I would do it all over again, 100 percent,” she stated, describing Andrew as “the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind.”

Ferguson reminisced about their wedding day, calling it the best moment of her life, while acknowledging the loss of her anonymity that came with marrying into royalty. She emphasized the enduring bond they share, stating, “Our love conquers all. It’s still with us today. I won’t let him down.” She credited their strong relationship to their mutual support for each other, citing key values they both hold dear: “communication, compromise, compassion.”

Their marriage, which occurred after a brief courtship, has seen its share of controversies, including Andrew’s connection to troubling allegations over the years. Despite these challenges, Ferguson maintained their relationship remains strong. She recounted how they reconnected during the mid-1980s after an early encounter when she was just 12 years old. The couple became engaged six months after reuniting, marking a rapid progression in their relationship.

Ferguson’s sister also weighed in, praising their ability to co-parent and maintain a positive relationship post-divorce. “Sarah and Andrew are the best divorced couple I know,” she remarked, highlighting their commitment to their children and the warmth that persists between them.

In the backdrop of Ferguson’s sentiments, Prince Andrew has faced scrutiny regarding his past, particularly concerning grave allegations linked to his associations. He has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, asserting his innocence in a highly publicized interview.

As the conversation around the royal family evolves, Ferguson’s comments offer a glimpse into her enduring affection for Andrew and her perspective on their shared history, shedding light on a complex relationship that continues to attract public interest.
